Initially select XenApp or XenDesktop
Delivery Controller is the main component
Studio & Director can be installed on Desktop
StoreFront is the new name for Web Interface
License server is similar to previous version but can be also accessed throuh Studio once delivery site has been configured.

After Initial XenApp Delivery Controller, Director and Studio install, XenApp also requires Virtual Delivery Agent for Windows Server OS installed otherwise site will not show any applications and Delivery Site will not pick up registered server.

When setting up a site, it needs to connect to Hypervisor. See using the default VMware vCenter server certificate in XenApp / XenDesktop for more information

XenDesktop on the other hand needs VDA installed on UADs which need to be:
- AD Joined
- Activated
- on DHCP scope
- VDA for Desktop OS installed

One on the options whilst installing VDA for Desktop OS is Optimize Performance. For more info see How to Optimize XenDesktop Machines (CTX125874)

Machine Catalogs: Collections  of machines managed as a single entity
Delivery Groups: Collections of end users who require common resources

Four decisions:
- Experience: Published applications versus Desktop
- Source: Dekstop OS versus Server OS
- Infrastructure: Physical versus Virtual
- Persistance (VDI): Random versus Static
