iSCSI (uses IQN iSCSI qualified name) to identify Targets and Initiators, format as follows:
- date in year-month format
- reversed domain
- a unique org assgined name (ie: hostname)

StorageLink Storage Repository
- A set of APIs which interface directly with storage arrays
- Offloads intensive tasks: Provisioning, Snapshot, Cloning
- Can co-exist with non StorageLink repository on the same array
- The features are based on the capabilities of the storage array
Storage Repository Removal Options
- Detach - to attach later (disconnect for later reconnection)
- Forget - entire configuration for the repo is "forgotten" but the data remains
- Destroy - like a delete button, everything is gone
