Limitations:
- works only with Windows TCP/IP services
- dc cannot be an IPAM server (MS recommends to have dedicated server)
- does not support multiple forests
- has no replication capability
- limited support for IPv6
- can only use WID - Windows internal database
- 3 years of data (leases, MACs, user login/out) for 100,000 users / no purge policy or mechanism
