Windows 7 does not come with USB 3.0 support
Pre-requisites:
PC or VM with WAIK (or WADK) and ISO editor installed
> WAIK (The Windows® Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows® 7 and The Windows® Automated Installation Kit (AIK) Supplement for Windows® 7 SP1 )
> ISO (WinISO 5.3 is completely free now)
1. Download driver from Motherboard CD or Manufacturer's website and copy to c:\temp\driver\x64
2. Copy boot.wim and install.wim to c:\temp from Windows 7 DVD \sources folder
3. Create folders c:\temp\boot & c:\temp\install
4. Run Deployment Tools Command Prompt
5. Within the prompt run to get index numbers
6. Add drivers to all images (the script below is based on 2 images for boot and 4 images for install)
If there are errors you can clean up wim and un-mount image without saving changes by running
7. Open Windows 7 ISO in editor, delete original \sources\boot.wim & install.wim
8. Add c:\temp\boot.wim & install.wim to \sources folder and save
9. Burn DVD
